I think, the time period made? I'm unfortunately not an expert on the eras of VB mouthpieces, and all the info I can find is on trumpet mouthpieces. I don't know if the trombone pieces used the same markings.

Trumpet and trombone used the same markings. I just don't remember whether the dot was later or earlier. Still, I would doubt it will make that much difference given the variability of Bach mouthpieces. There are differences between New York, Mount Vernon, and Elkhart, though.

I wouldn't be wrong but for what I know, the CORPs (not dot) are older (over 60 years of age), 70 years old and are going to pose CORP. (with dot)

but for me the most significant thing about the CORP (no dot) mouthpieces, is that the rim is very comfortable, it is not as round as the current BACH, or the CORP (with dot)

In addition, the Bach 1½G CORP (60's) that I had as the main mouthpiece for my orchestra, gives you something special.

For this reason I am looking for a 3G for this period, to see if you have the same rim, and the same enchanted.

I have a Corp (no dot) 1 1/2G that is the best 1 1/2G I've ever played. I was always told it was made right after Bach moved to Elkhart.
