As one does, I'm listening to Mahler 3 recorded by LA Phil, 1994, conducted by Zubin Mehta. Where would I find the personnel listings? Was Ralph Sauer the principal trombone with the meaty solos?
One hopes there is an easy way on the "internets" to verify things like this, but this was released before it was more typical to do an orchestral personnel listing in the album jackets. And Google is useless.

I’m guessing the three regulars for that year were Ralph Sauer, Sonny Ausman, and Jeff Reynolds.

Sauer and Peebles were co-Principals. Sonny Ausmann was the 2nd.
