Bob Reeves-Brass Ark Gemini Series

I've been working on developing a medium weight blank for our Reeves-Brass Ark mouthpieces. This is something many have asked for, so my colleagues and I have done our best to design something we hope you all will like. The Gemini series takes an inspiration from a 1940s Art Deco piece in my collection. The Gemini large tenors have been available for a month, but we finished our small bore design today and I'm excited with the result. I'll be working the rest of the month on a bass Gemini option for our low bone friends... I'd love to hear from the bass players what you'd like to see!

Here's a photo comparison of raw un-cut blanks (outer shapes) of our tenor Gemini and Mercury pieces. The Gemini blanks are close to about 1oz heavier.

Hope you all enjoy!

We are big Nasa fans... so I'd say that's a safe bet if we do another series :good:

Something in the 60, GB 1G ball park would be awesome!

I like 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 range but comfortable rim is very important
