Struck a deal with a fellow trombonists who's selling off his herd.
Tonight he brought me a 1962 King 3B Concert Silver Sonic in pristine condition.
Included in the deal was a Protec gig bag and two vintage Urbie Green Jet Tone mouthpieces - a silver Model D and a gold Model M.
There's JOY in Casa De Mayo tonight!!!!

The contest entry form said "Void where prohibited", so I peed on the Captain's desk.

Nice horn. Did someone polish off the edges of the engraving?
Yeah, previous owner bought it used in 1975. The original owner had it overhauled just before selling it.
Part of the reason I got it and all the gear for $1000. Then again, nobody can hear the engraving.
