I have a Mt Vernon NY 12C and don't really know the value. Any ideas how old this mouthpiece is and what it's worth?
Thanks!

I think of the old Bachs you might see for sale on eBay etc, the most common are the 12/12c and 15c....so they don’t usually sell for as much as a 1.5G or some of the other more sort after sizes. Exact age and price others can probably give a better indication than I can.

The small cup MV 's don't go for much unless they are in great shape. Somewhere between $25 and $100, depending on condition, I would guess. They made LOTS of smaller mouthpieces, so they are abundant. Larger cups - 6.5, 5, 4, 3,... are much less common and will bring more. And the 1.5G's, of course, are hot property. Most have been bringing $400+.

Bach was located in Mt Vernon for about a decade - ending in 1964-65.
